The sound of the gutter can be yours!

These are exclusive 1960s-inspired designs, not available anywhere else, hand-made to exacting autistic standards, in unique enclosures with rare germanium transistors. They have simple controls, bold, hand-stamped graphics, and a high-impact sound.

Prices vary according to the amount of work involved and the cost of materials, but they generally sell for £150-£200+ plus shipping.

Good Fuzzy Sounds Bad Motorscooter fuzz pedal, wedge-shaped metal enclosure with two knobs, a foot switch, extremely basic righteous-looking

Bad Motorscooter

A crude cousin of Gary Hurst’s first Tone Bender, with a sound that is bad tempered and broken, the very last of the 2G381 and 2G381T transistors, and a Maestro twist.

Good Fuzzy Sounds FZ-X home made fuzz pedal in metal enclosure with two black knobs, a switch and stamped logos

FZ-X

A wild and hairy hot-rodded Fuzztone with three tonal options. It takes the building blocks of the 60s to create something new.

Good Fuzzy Sounds 2.Bad fuzz pedal, a moulded metal enclosure with two knobs, a switch and hand-stamped graphics

2.Bad

A super-raw, two-transistor, one-knob, minimalist germanium fuzz. It covers a range of tones thanks to a big ol’ switch on the side!

Good Fuzzy Sounds Bad Nite fuzz pedal, a moulded metal enclosure with one knob, a switch and hand-stamped graphics

Bad Nite

A square wave fuzz monster straight out of 1966 with four transistors. A really pissed-off sound and a Good Fuzzy Sounds fan favourite.

Good Fuzzy Sounds Bad Apple, a hand-made fuzz pedal in a metal enclosure painted yellow, with black plastic knobs, a switch, dymo tape and hand stamped labelling, slightly battered and worn

Bad Apple

Designed for a hobby magazine in 1968 with features from 1962, re-jigged by me in 2020 to be fuller, more versatile and with more sustain.

In development

Good Fuzzy Sounds Bad Moon fuzz pedal, a wedge-shaped metal enclosure with two knobs, a foot switch and hand-stamped graphics, looks robotic and basic

Bad Moon

A re-imagined germanium version of an ultra-rare silicon fuzz from late 1960s Japan. Louder, wilder and dirtier than the original.

Good Fuzzy Sounds Bad Road fuzz pedal prototype, a metal box with hand-stamped graphics, knobs, switches, screw-heads, it looks like a cross face

Bad Road

This pedal has taken me on quite a journey, and I’m not sure where it ends! I’m working on it, and it could still be a fire-breather!

Sold out!

Hand-made fuzz pedal, rectangular metal enclosure with a switch and a fader. The object is printed with the words Good fuzzy Sounds, Level, Tone and Bad 1

Bad.1

This budget-friendly pedal is a cut-down version of the Bad Nite, bright and raw. First batch sold out instantly.
