This is a ‘what if’/alternative history pedal, a re-imagined germanium version of an ultra-rare silicon fuzz from late 1960s Japan: the Yack YF-2. With period-correct Japanese transistors, and a switch for two distinct sounds, it’s louder, wilder and dirtier than the original.
