Egmond archtop

Made in the late 1960s in Holland, it looks anachronistically '50s-y to me. Most references to this model on the internet are of the 'my first guitar' reminiscence variety. I acquired it in a swap, in exchange for the unwanted Musima Eterna, mid-2000 (see other stuff).

It was covered in 20 years of crud and dust when I got it, but with new tuners and a little attention, it plays ok now. I've never had an acoustic guitar before, this is rocknroll enough for me.

I added the pickup in the picture above right; it seems really old. It's American - another Ebay score. The 'tortoiseshell' is brittle celluloid, the engraving is crude and the pole pieces are ordinary screws going into a pickup about a half-inch deep. Anybody seen anything like it?

It also has this strange screw in the back which adjusts the angle of the neck in a clever way. Filing down a few frets here and there has also improved playability.
